Maxi 95 for sale.

The reason is simple: I no longer have enough time to sail her, and that is unlikely to change anytime soon. I will be leaving in the autumn and will not return until May, so I will not even be able to prepare her properly for next season. I do not want the boat to sit unused.

A great deal of time and effort has recently been invested in her. The main work includes:

- complete engine overhaul - the engine is still being run in;
- new fuel injectors;
- new starter installed last year;
- both sails repaired;
- new sprayhood, not yet installed;
- new battery charger;
- two new batteries;
- fresh antifouling;
- new guardrails/lifelines with pelican hooks;
- refurbished wooden elements, including the companionway hatch, table and doors;
- all winches recently serviced, with the grip pattern on the drums restored to prevent the lines from slipping.

A great deal of smaller work has also been completed - too much to list everything now.

The hull is strong, with no signs whatsoever of osmosis. The sail inventory includes a mainsail, two genoas and a spinnaker.

One of the modifications is that the forestay has been moved to the bowsprit. On a Maxi 95, this noticeably improves handling and sailing performance.

The following will also be included with the boat:

- two life rafts, although I would recommend having them serviced and repacked for peace of mind;
- autopilot;
- Kärcher pressure washer, hoses, spare chemicals, paints, varnishes, - consumables and spare parts;
- mooring lines, fenders and a large quantity of ropes;
- all interior and exterior cushions - reupholstered a couple of years ago and still in almost-new condition;
- diesel heater - everything required is included and the air ducts have already been installed; it only needs to be assembled;
- quite a large selection of tools, which can be negotiated separately;
- a completely new handheld VHF radio with AIS, also available separately if required.

The boat is located at Meksikas līcis. It can be viewed on practically any day, and a sea trial can be arranged when weather conditions allow.
